Thanks everyone. I literally stood over my husband making him photograph it over and over again until he got it right. It is actually the only thing out apart from snowdrops. Looking at all the other blogs with all their crocus (crocuses? croci?) in full bloom reminds me how far behind my north facing shaded garden is at times. Oh well!
Hi Claire, beautiful iris! Every time I see those early irises it reminds me that I still haven't got any of them in my garden - note to self, get some for next year! As for crocus in plural, I think you are allowed to say both crocuses and croci, but I think it sounds better to say crocuses :-) Wrap up warm,it's going to get colder again!
Oh how I wish...still snow here so they are sleeping in my garden
ReplyDeleteVery nice!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty - no sign of the ones I had in pots, will just have to plant some more this Autumn.
